These LGDs must meet certain performance criteria. The criteria are defined within the framework of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpt-ch.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pr\u00fcfungsreglement-Zuchthunde_HSH-CH.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">breeding dog tests<\/a><\/strong>. The corresponding data is registered in the association&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zooeasyonline.com\/login.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>database<\/strong><\/a>. In order to maintain a sufficiently high genetic variability within the dog population, LGDs can be mated abroad or puppies can be imported. Mating within the dog population is in accordance with the performance criteria and is planned at the breeders\u2019 meetings of the two recognised breeds. The offspring is obligatorily and consistently reviewed according to the requirements of a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpt-ch.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/Reglement-EB\u00dc-BAFU_2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">test<\/a><\/strong>. This test examines the LGD\u2019s working ability with livestock, its good-naturedness outside the herd, i.e. outside its working environment, and its readiness to cooperate with its owner. The test is carried out by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.protectiondestroupeaux.ch\/menu\/herdenschutzhunde\/monitoring-und-kontrolle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>LGD Specialist Service<\/strong><\/a>.
